I know a lot about the history of France, especially the periods from Louis XIV to Louis XVI, but when people ask me to teach them about the French Revolution I don’t know how to tell them I can’t, because I’m a monarchist and people don’t want to hear my version because they deem it “incorrect”.
I’ve always wondered what would have happened if Leon Czolgosz had been accepted as an anarchist and had gained friends. Would McKinley have lived for the rest of his term or would someone else have shot him?
I wish I could have been Alexandre Dumas’ muse. His stories are filled with beautiful, scandalous, and sometimes treacherous women, and I fancy that I could have been one.

I think that Josephine Baker is the most beautiful woman of color to ever grace the planet, inside and out. Her smile and eyes easily entrance and I love that she adopted children from many cultures rather than just her own.
I hate the world for craving Africa into spheres of influence and leaving the continent full of cruel dictatorships and instability
