I have an inappropriate amount of affection (not lust, mind you) for John Wilkes Booth. I have to explain to people that I do not condone his ideals or his shooting Lincoln—I just find him really interesting.

I am hopelessly in love with John Wilkes Booth and I often fantasize about caring for his broken leg and hiding him safely away.

I would have taken that bullet for Abraham Lincoln.

I don’t support his views or what he did in any way, but I think John Wilkes Booth was a fascinating man and I would have loved to have met him and watched him for a while.
