Confession: I think Adolf Hitler could have been one of the world’s greatest leaders if he had just held back some of his excesses.
I can’t really explain it in words very well, but anytime someone compares Obama to Hitler, it enrages me. Not because it’s ignorant propoganda, or because I like Obama, but because in my mind it really downplays the seriousness of the crimes that Hitler commited.
Although Eva Braun has stated that she thought sometimes that Hitler didn’t love her, I think he did, but he was just utterly clueless that she needed him to show it. I wish I could hug her and say that.
I know it’s immature, but i love making fun of Hitler’s mustache.
I think Hitler did some great things for the world. I do not agree with what he did, but I do give him recognition for what he did.
I feel sorry for what happened to Blondi, Hitler’s dog. She was adorable.
No Nazis were attractive. None were good. In any way. They were insane. In no way was Adolf Hitler smart- he was lucky. I am disgusted by these confessions stating the opposite.
I feel like education has failed us in a way, when people can only have secrets about Hitler or the Tudors. Yes, they are interesting, but other people have been too!
If Hitler hadn’t killed himself, he should have been allowed to live freely as Israel was founded. Knowing that he directly contributed to their Jewish State would be more than enough punishment for a man who was so hateful of them. It would probably drive him entirely insane.
Mod FS notes: This is an interesting thought, but I wonder what level of impact the creation of Israel would have had on someone like Hitler. Given that Hitler’s first aim was to round up the Jews and contain them (only later moving to exterminate them), would Israel just seem like a convient target rather than rankle him? Would the hemming and hawing of the political leaders of the time on the issue of Israel have made him feel justified or not? One must look to the surviving Nazi leaders and their trials in the Israeli state to see what their thoughts were. An interesting subject for further study.
I wish people could see the Third Reich was a little less about Hitler, and a little more about his Cabinet. All of them were total bad-asses.
